Two-Step Registration Process
Step 1
Register with National BSA ($85 in 2026; subject to annual national adjustment).
Complete BSA Registration → Dues & Expenses Overview
- Arrow of Light Cross-Overs: First-year Scouts pay $125 when crossing over from Cub Scouts.
- Annual Troop Renewal: Split into two parts — Troop dues are $175, and National BSA membership is renewed separately on your annual anniversary date.
- What Unit Dues Cover: Troop and patrol meetings, regular camping trips, and a Scout Handbook for initial registrations.
- What National Dues Cover: Access to all BSA programming, including Atlanta Area Council and Northern Ridge District events.
- Additional Outings: Summer Camp, High Adventure programs, and council events incur additional fees.
Uniform Policy
Troop 7153 is a shirt and belt unit. Neckkerchiefs/scarves and official Scout pants are not required (though many Scouts wear affordable green pants). Please note: elastic-banded pants are not permitted as part of the official uniform.
