Registration has two parts:
- Register with National BSA here
- Pay dues to our Unit here
- First years scouts pay $75 if crossing over from being an AOL.
- Annual renewal with the troop is split in two parts. The troop dues are $165 and then you'll have to renew with BSA separately on the annual renewal date.
National BSA Dues give you and your unit access to all of our programming including Atlanta Area Council events and Northern Ridge District events.
Dues to our unit pay for all troop/patrol meetings and camping trips. Also, your Scout will receive a Scout book when they initially register.
Additional costs are likely to be incurred for council or national events such as Summer Camp and High Adventure programs.
One of the methods of scouting is wearing the uniform. Our unit is a shirt and belt unit. We do not require scarfs or scout pants, but many of our Scouts wear affordable green pants. Wearing elastic banded pants is not part of the uniform.
